Mike Wilson in orbit.

Here's a shot from Mike Wilson's 20+ foot boost at the VT Open Quarterpipe finals. The quarterpipe was 30 feet high and he was boosting 20-25 feet out. He ultimately lost control and crashed onto the flats and had to be ambulanced to the hospital. Major concussion and tons of stitches. I was standing on top of the quarter when I shot this. Look how small the people are who are watching from the bottom of the run.

Heal up fast, Wilson.

You missed out on another powder day at Copper! Get out of New England and get back to where the real skiing is! (this comment will most likely cause some chatter)

All i think about when i see this picture is that Kanye song " touch the Sky ". I think that is what Mr.Wilson was trying to do. He accomplished that goal. Get well Mike, next time wear a helmet!
