Ok, for those of you that have been living under a rock, Crash was one of the most over-hyped, over-inflated movies of 2005. It was essentially created to make all of us feel bad about using words like...

• spic
• chink
• honkey

The star of the movie, contrary to popular belief, is not Don Cheadle. The star of the movie was racism! Crash is essentially a convergence story, meaning that there are a handful of people and racism somehow ties their improbable story together. These people all go through stereotypical situations where race plays an enormous deciding factor in their outcome. At times the stereotypes are so blatant that it almost hurts to watch this movie. Such examples include...

• Asians can't drive.
• Islamic people owning a convenience store.
• Black people carjacking and only stealing from white people.
• Irish-Catholic corrupt white police officer.
• Bright eyed white cop who becomes disenchanted with the whole system.
• Black woman addicted to crack.

It seems that the message tries too hard in the movie. So, if you want to see a film that plays the race card for 113 minutes, go rent crash. Then do something stereotypically racist.

For those of you that think Crash was an amazing movie, great... Glad you enjoyed the movie. Personally, I don't care for a movie that makes me feel like an asswipe because I was born white. This is America, if you have a good idea, have a few brain cells to rub together, work hard and speak ENGLISH you should do just fine.
