Highlands Bowl.

This is the Highlands Bowl at Aspen Highlands. Hike-to terrain, no lift access, 12,000+ feet above sea-level. It is about a 30 minute hike if you're in good shape. The skiing is super gnarly in some sections and is definitely a no fall zone, unless you like sliding down 1500+ vertical feet on your ass. Unfortunately, Ryan and I didn't have a powder day back here, but it was still really good. It was his first "big mountain" experience skiing super steep stuff and I think he had a good time.
